Women's Resource Center Career Services and SEI Workforce Development Team Present:

"Your Strengths: Identify, Understand, and Put Them to Work"


The Women's Resource Center and the SEI Workforce Development Team are offering a program specifically designed for women who are returning to or may be making a transition in the workforce. During this event, participants will identify, understand and embrace their true strengths and discover how to leverage them for career success!


Wednesday July 14th from 6:30-8:30 pm at The Saturday Club

What to expect?

  • Learn about a strengths-based philosophy, what it is, what it is not, and how it can help you set a path for your career and life that could lead to engagement and fulfillment in your work
  • One on one coaching from SEI professionals in workforce development:  Together, you will explore how can you use your top strengths to create and leverage a career plan, what industries and jobs  best suit your strengths, and what activities best utilize your  strengths.  
  • Learn how to create a career plan that is more likely to engage, energize, and inspire you and those around you by putting your strengths to work
  • An opportunity to practice networking; meet new contacts to build your personal and professional network.

With your registration:

  • Event information and StrengthsFinder book will be sent to you
  • Requirement for participation: Take pre-workshop StrengthsFinder assessment and bring results with you to the event (you will need a computer to complete the assessment online)

Career Guidance Over Coffee

2nd and 4th Thursday of each month 9:30-11 am


Women who have been downsized, laid off, or are new to the area can take advantage of the opportunity to expand their network in an informal setting. Perfect for those who have prior work experience and experience searching for employment, participants in this group receive assistance in improving their job searches and come away with the tools needed to successfully navigate a tough job market. 

Coffee is provided. $5 recommended donation

Free Individual Career Consultations
1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month 7-8:30 pm


Come in for a 30-minute one-on-one consultation in our office in Wayne.  Our professional career counselors can critique your resume, do a mock interview, help you figure out where to look for jobs or counsel you on your career path.
